 Chez Pierre d'Agos is in the perfect location, near the region's best-loved sights: Gavarnie, Tourmalet, the Pic du Midi, Lourdes, Pont d'Espagne, Hautacam; the list goes on... And there's plenty to do here too, including skiing, hiking, recreational spas, rafting and cycling.

Spring and summer

Take off and explore on foot or by bike

Chez Pierre d'Agos Hotel and Restaurant is at the gateway to the Pibeste-Aoulhet Massif Regional Nature Reserve. Covering more than 5,100 hectares, this is the largest nature reserve in mainland France and the perfect starting point for valley rambles and mountain hikes.At the hotel we are always on hand to help you with information and tips about local walks, guides and excursions.

The Tour de France came through here on the 18th stage of the race (Pau-Hautacam) on 24th July 2014.

Our hotel is in the perfect location for road racers! From the door, cyclists can ride some 20 routes including the legendary Pyrenean cols of Tourmalet, Soulor, Aubisque, Luz Ardiden and Hautacam.

Plenty for the children to do

Parc Animalier des Pyrénées: ranked France's third best zoo/park, the Parc Animalier des Pyrénées is at Argelès-Gazost in the very heart of the Pyrenees Mountains. The 14-hectare grounds are home to more than 100 species of wild animals.
Chloro'fil Aerial Adventure Park: unforgettable thrills for all the family in safe surroundings (suitable for ages 4 and up).

There are no fewer than 3 ski resorts less than 35 minutes from Chez Pierre d'Agos Hotel and Restaurant!

Val d'Azun: 20 minutes away (nordic centre for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing)
Hautacam: 35 minutes away (alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging and skijoring)
Cauterets: 35 minutes away (alpine skiing and cross-country skiing)

Gavarnie-Gèdre: 60 minutes away. Gavarnie-Gèdre is a Unesco World Heritage Site (alpine skiing, free cross-country trails in the Cirque de Gavarnie, a 555m² ice skating rink and bobsled run)
Luz Ardiden Saint Sauveur: 60 minutes away (alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing)
Grand Tourmalet ski area, via Barèges or La Mongie: 60 minutes away (alpine skiing, boardercross, table tops, big airs, rails and a fun zone suitable for all ages).
